Holidays with your horse in the North Devon Countryside

Come and enjoy the luxury horse and rider accommodation at Hollamoor Farm in Tawstock, North Devon, where you will be treated to luxurious bedrooms, lush paddocks, and a delicious breakfast that is home grown or locally sourced. Dogs are also welcome.

Enjoy the luxury of being able to ride, cycle or amble freely around 400 beautiful acres, with hardly a gate to open. Hollamoor Farm is set in undulating Devon countryside, encapulating open fields, prolific hedgerows, ancient farm tracks, woodlands, lakes and hills.

Just imagine how wonderful it would be, as a horse lover, to ride our treasured animal along an easily-accessible, 3-mile stretch of a golden-sanded beach and ride in amongst the gentle waves.

Also, just think how perfect it would be to ride for miles in the unique National Park of Exmoor, amongst the herds of Exmoor ponies and, if you are in luck, with a view of the magnificent red deer as well.

Exmoor and beach rides are only a short distance by horsebox. All directions and instructions are provided once you are here.

Bed and Breakfast Facilities

• A warm and friendly, 18th century Devon farmhouse and converted stable block in which to stay
• Elegant, yet cosy, bedrooms for your rest and relaxation
• Modern bathrooms with all of the necessary comforts
• Delicious breakfasts in the dining room with its unique, seven-foot inglenook fireplace with original beams and bread oven
• Paddock for your horses.

Facilities for your Horses

We provide everything for you and your horse or pony, including;

• A large barn where everyone can gather for tea, coffee and snacks
• The feed bins live in the barn where everyone gets a table and a shelf
• The heated rug room has many large rug arms for holding the rugs and numerous points to hook up rugs when wet; the door is secure but designed to allow air circulation
• There is a picnic table on the lawn for fun picnics and BBQ's
• Many of the stables are situated around this vocal point, in an L-shape
• There are numerous tap points on the yard
• The paddocks each have their own water troughs
• We supply the hay, invoicing you per net; you help yourself off a large roller bale
• There is space for lorry or trailer parking in the stables' car park
• The riding is superb, along farm tracks, up an down undulating hills, across grassy pastures, through beautiful woodlands, past scenic lakes and with hardly any gates to open
• There is really quiet hacking in the surrounding, tiny lanes
  
• Beach and Exmoor rides are superb from here. These are only a short distance by horsebox. All directions and instructions are provided once you are here.

Cost for horses is £15 per night, hay is charged per-net, use of the all-weather-arena is £15 per hour (advance booking advised), luxury rooms for riders are £90 per night and include breakfast.

We had the most fabulous North Devon horse riding holiday with friends. Lovely accommodation for both the horses and the riders, and everything you could possibly need for your horse. The rides were breathtaking. We will be back again next year!
